He gained professional experience in Poland, Austria, Germany, and Belgium, working in academia and European institutions. He is an assistant professor at the Department of German Studies at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and head of the Germany: State–Economy–Security team at the Institute for Western Affairs.
